there is always a second time
there is always a second time. another shot. but never a do-over. its not an exquisite replica. never the same. repeat. try agian. and fall quickly—short. tumbling back again. up or down? just sideways around. the ocean is not so wide. only more fish aimlessly focused. ready to devour. but soon find salt to sour and slippery. find a niche in which you can swim. and swim.
Yikes.
It’s nearing the end of the month, which means I should be recieving my letter from camp telling me whether im hired or not. I don’t know if I will be able to even open it. ok I will rip it open. I hope against all hope that I get it but why do I always get this feeling? That I can’t possibly be hired. That there are many others better for the a spot than me. That everyone else...
